After the success of its second edition in Vienna, the South Eastern Europe Arbitration Conference (SEEA) returns this year for its much-anticipated third edition - this time in the historic and vibrant city of Athens. In proud collaboration with the Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization (EODID), SEEA 2025 will be held as party of Athens Arbitration Days of Friday, 28 November 2025.

This year's theme, "Navigation Arbitration Frontiers in CEE: AI, Energy, Investment & Technology Disputes", reflects the regions's increasingly complex legal landscape. Panels will explore cutting-edge challenges and opportunities in the arbitration of: 

1. Energy disputes, including treaty withdrawals and legacy contract claims

2. Technology and AI, examining the evolving duties of arbitrators and institutions in a rapidly digitizing world

3. Investment arbitration, in the shifting geopolitical and regulatory climate of the CEE region

The conference will ask how arbitration can continue to deliver justice and stability across Southeastern Europe amidst technological disruption and shifting regulatory frontiers.
