Managing Partner of IVP Law Firm, is an experienced practitioner in the area of international commercial and investment arbitration and has acted as counsel,as well as arbitrator in numerous high-profile cases, mainly under the ICC, LCIA, SCAI, and ICSID Rules, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations (including UNCITRAL).

He is a member of the Task Force on Contract Adjudication, established in January 2026 by the International Construction Projects (ICP) Committee of IBA, and served as Co-Chair of the Dispute Resolution subcommittee of IBA’s ICP committee in 2020-2021. He also holds various institutional positions, such as that of Board Member of the International Construction Law Association, Board Member of the Greek Arbitration Association, Vice-President of the Franco-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFG) and Vice-President of the Hellenic-African Chamber of Commerce and Development.

He has been appointed to the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators by the Greek State for the period 2020 – 2026.

Besides his practical engagement and experience with arbitration, Ioannis frequently participates in various conferences (e.g. the IBA annual Conference) as a speaker and/or moderator on topics related to dispute resolution. He has also contributed to numerous publications on arbitration issues, such as the ICCA International Handbook on Commercial Arbitration, and serves as editor-in-chief of the Greek biannual legal journal “Arbitration & Mediation and ADR”.

Veronika Korom

Dr Veronika Korom is a tenure-track Professor of International Business Law and Arbitration at ESSEC Business School in Paris and an Affiliated Partner at Paragon Advocacy in Vienna. She is a triple-qualified attorney, licensed to practise in England & Wales, France, and Hungary. She acts as counsel and arbitrator in commercial and investment treaty disputes. Veronika serves on the Board of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. She is a co-founder and board member of the Arbitration Association for Central and Eastern Europe (ArbCEE) and the Hungarian Arbitration Association (HAA), Co-Managing Editor of the European Investment Law and Arbitration Review, and Secretary General of the Club d'Arbitrage.
